The Merchant Navy Association is honoured to receive a message from the Prime Minister marking the 2026 Merchant Navy Association Memorial Service at Trinity Square Gardens. In his message, the Prime Minister recognises the courage and sacrifice of Merchant Navy seafarers throughout history, honours those who have lost their lives in service, and highlights the vital contribution that seafarers continue to make to the United Kingdom’s trade, supply chains and prosperity. He also extends his gratitude to serving and former seafarers and thanks the Merchant Navy Association for its work in remembrance.
